Canada Jay

Perisoreus canadensis

"A gentle, clever soul of the woods."

You passed on the aggressive hunters and noisy mimics, preferring the soft aesthetics of the Waxwing and Chickadee. Your selfie shows a calm, observant energy surrounded by a warm, eclectic home—much like this 'Whiskey Jack' who finds comfort and community in the quiet boreal forest.

A note on your bird: it wasn't picked from the 10 you swiped through — those were just the warm-up. It was chosen from our full flock of 100 iconic Canadian birds, matching the pattern of what moved you. That's why it may be one you never met on your journey.
