Spirit bird

Resplendent Quetzal

Pharomachrus mocinno

"Boldly majestic with a quirkily intense gaze"

You bypass the subtle brown sparrows and grouses for the high-drama flair of the Hawk and the Waxwing. Your playful, cross-eyed expression captures a soul that is undeniably regal yet refuses to take its own magnificence too seriously. You are built for the lush canopy, where vibrant style meets a hilariously honest perspective.

A note on your bird: it wasn't picked from the 10 you swiped through — those were just the warm-up. It was chosen from our full flock of 100 iconic Canadian birds, matching the pattern of what moved you. That's why it may be one you never met on your journey.
