Spirit bird

Bufflehead

Bucephala albeola

"Tiny, energetic, and full of bold spirit"

By choosing the American Dipper, you showed a love for spirited, resilient water-dwellers over the more stoic owls and grouse. Your vibrant teal and purple energy mirrors the iridescent flash of this energetic little diver, while your warm, bright eyes match its curious and bold presence.

A note on your bird: it wasn't picked from the 10 you swiped through — those were just the warm-up. It was chosen from our full flock of 100 iconic Canadian birds, matching the pattern of what moved you. That's why it may be one you never met on your journey.
