Spirit bird

Canada Jay

Perisoreus canadensis

"A fearless, friendly soul of the forest."

You passed on the flashy, aggressive hummingbirds and owls in favor of the dignified, northern spirits like the Loon and Dusky Grouse. Your cozy cabin interior and kind, wise eyes suggest you are a true 'Whiskey Jack'—a clever, boreal companion who is both incredibly hardy and warmly welcoming to those you meet in the woods.

A note on your bird: it wasn't picked from the 10 you swiped through — those were just the warm-up. It was chosen from our full flock of 100 iconic Canadian birds, matching the pattern of what moved you. That's why it may be one you never met on your journey.
