Steller's Jay

Cyanocitta stelleri

"Bold, blue, and built for mountain living."

With your preferences for the Mountain Bluebird and American Kestrel, you clearly gravitate toward vibrant blues and high-altitude spirits. Your choice to pass on the more somber forest grouse matches the charcoal-and-cobalt energy of this crested alpine legend. Like the Steller's Jay, you have a rugged, cozy outdoor vibe that feels right at home in a winter beanie and a sturdy flannel.

A note on your bird: it wasn't picked from the 10 you swiped through — those were just the warm-up. It was chosen from our full flock of 100 iconic Canadian birds, matching the pattern of what moved you. That's why it may be one you never met on your journey.
