Spirit bird

Resplendent Quetzal

Pharomachrus mocinno

"Radiant elegance with a wild, rhythmic flow"

You skipped the stoic, staring owls in favor of birds with vibrant accents and dynamic patterns like the Northern Flicker. Your spiral curls mirror the cascading, graceful plumage of the Quetzal, suggesting a spirit that values high-fashion flair over camouflaged blending. You possess an effortless, regal poise that demands a bird just as intricate and visually striking.

A note on your bird: it wasn't picked from the 10 you swiped through — those were just the warm-up. It was chosen from our full flock of 100 iconic Canadian birds, matching the pattern of what moved you. That's why it may be one you never met on your journey.
