Spirit bird

Cedar Waxwing

Bombycilla cedrorum

"A silky, social soul with gentle charm"

You favor birds with grounded, rhythmic textures like the Northern Flicker and Great Gray Owl, but your friendly expression and curly locks share the polished, sociable energy of the Waxwing. By passing on 'high-stress' flyers like the Killdeer and Cooper's Hawk, you've shown a preference for this bird's harmonious and collaborative way of moving through the world.

A note on your bird: it wasn't picked from the 10 you swiped through — those were just the warm-up. It was chosen from our full flock of 100 iconic Canadian birds, matching the pattern of what moved you. That's why it may be one you never met on your journey.
