Canada Jay

Perisoreus canadensis

"A clever and fearless boreal companion"

Your love for the Spruce Grouse and Great Gray Owl shows a deep affinity for the magic of the northern woods, while your warm, bespectacled selfie radiates the exact 'whiskey-jack' energy of a friendly forest dwelling spirit. Like the Canada Jay, you seem approachably bold and highly intelligent, matching the cleverness of your Corvidae kin with a playful, welcoming smile.

A note on your bird: it wasn't picked from the 10 you swiped through — those were just the warm-up. It was chosen from our full flock of 100 iconic Canadian birds, matching the pattern of what moved you. That's why it may be one you never met on your journey.
