Spirit bird

Pacific Wren / Winter Wren

Troglodytes pacificus

"A secret song in the deep green."

You seem drawn to small, soulful forest spirits like the Saw-whet and Dusky Grouse, yet you clearly value the serene patience of the Heron. Your affinity for the American Dipper suggests a love for hidden, wet forest nooks, matching this wren’s mossy habitat. The bright green energy of your photo reflects a soul that feels most at home in the vibrant, complex layers of a damp woodland floor.

A note on your bird: it wasn't picked from the 10 you swiped through — those were just the warm-up. It was chosen from our full flock of 100 iconic Canadian birds, matching the pattern of what moved you. That's why it may be one you never met on your journey.
