Swainson’s Thrush

Catharus ustulatus

"A soulful song hidden in the forest."

By passing on the flashy raptors and choosing the humble, melodic Mountain Chickadee and Savannah Sparrow, you've shown a preference for quiet, gentle characters. Your selfie radiates a serene, contemplative warmth that mirrors the thrush's peaceful forest flute-song. You are a dreamer who values subtle beauty over grand displays.

A note on your bird: it wasn't picked from the 10 you swiped through — those were just the warm-up. It was chosen from our full flock of 100 iconic Canadian birds, matching the pattern of what moved you. That's why it may be one you never met on your journey.
