Spirit bird

Cedar Waxwing

Bombycilla cedrorum

"Elegant socialite with a communal heart"

By passing on the solitary, hidden raptors and favoring the classic charm of Robins and Bluebirds, you show a soul built for community and gentle brightness. Your space—with its clean lines, organized textures, and soft blue lighting—mirrors the sleek, silky aesthetic of the Waxwing. You appreciate a polished look but thrive on the joyful, shared energy of a well-kept social flock.

A note on your bird: it wasn't picked from the 10 you swiped through — those were just the warm-up. It was chosen from our full flock of 100 iconic Canadian birds, matching the pattern of what moved you. That's why it may be one you never met on your journey.
