Spirit bird

Steller’s Jay

Cyanocitta stelleri

"A bold mountain spirit with high-wattage energy"

You skipped the quiet 'skulkers' and hawks for birds with high contrast and huge personalities like the Magpie and Eagle. Your electric, wide-eyed selfie perfectly mirrors the intense, crested energy of this mountain jay. You aren't meant for the shadows; you're meant for the bold alpine blue and that loud, clever mountain life.

A note on your bird: it wasn't picked from the 10 you swiped through — those were just the warm-up. It was chosen from our full flock of 100 iconic Canadian birds, matching the pattern of what moved you. That's why it may be one you never met on your journey.
